Cedar Fence
For privacy, cedar fences are superior in every way. There, we said it! We simply won’t put up a green-treated or pine fence, which may be cheaper but have all kinds of quality issues. We build the best, so cedar it is. Cedar pickets are not only beautiful (they weather naturally to a fine gray and they take stain well), they’re naturally pest resistant. Cedar pickets are also lightweight and easily customizable: We can put up a fence of any height to meet your needs, from 30 inches tall for small pets, to eight feet high deer fences.
Sturdy Fence Company’s unbeatable method is to choose the best pickets, then anchor them to steel PostMaster posts pounded into undisturbed soil well below the frost line. Our posts won’t move, bend, or rot — and they resist 73 mile-per-hour hour winds! We finish the job with matching cedar picket gates built with steel frames, hinges and hardware. Our gates won’t sag or fail over time like wood frame ones.
Chain Link Fence
For security and a view, chain link fences are practical, efficient, and cost-effective. Like our cedar fences, however, we don’t short the quality. We work with the best materials supplier in the country, ensuring industry-leading processes and top-tier quality. They’re also quick to install: For most standard-size yards, we can build your fence in a day!
Easy-to-maintain chain link fences come in 4-, 5-, 6-, and 8-feet heights. We offer galvanized metal with a corrosion-resistant zinc coating. We also offer black, which visually almost disappears into the landscape. The color-coated polyester and extruded polyvinyl chloride coating carries a 15-year limited product warranty.
Iron and Aluminum Fence
For security, a view and an elegant look, iron fences are the way to go. We work with Ameristar to supply our American-made steel fences (other steels rust quickly). It has the best finish in the industry, starting with a pre-treatment, then an epoxy primer, and finally a topcoat to ensure it will withstand Iowa’s weather. Available in a variety of heights, black iron fences can’t be beat for classic, traditional style that enhances your home.
Many homeowners choose ornamental aluminum fences for security and safety around their pools and play sets. Again, we work only with Ameristar products, which are the highest quality on the market.
